Spaces
In this section, we will explain what a Space is and how you can create a new Space to share notebooks with other members and teams.
A Zepl Space is a collection of notebooks. Typically, a space is created for a specific project or working group; it's a place for a group of people who are working together on a set of data science problems. Both members and teams in an Organization can be invited into a Space and granted permission to share and collaborate on the notebooks within the Space.

- 1.Click the New Space button on the home page.
- 1.Name your Space.
- 2.Write a short description for your Space.
- 3.Click Apply to save your new Space.

Zepl offers the ability to import notebooks from several external sources when creating a Space. To do so, click the External Repositories checkbox while creating a space. You can synchronize read-only notebooks from an external repository. In order to run/execute the notebooks, you must clone the notebooks first into your space. Zepl currently supports importing notebooks from the following Repositories:
- Github notebooks
- AWS S3 notebooks
After creating a new Space, you can share the Space with other members, teams, or the entire Organization (the default option). Members of a Space are able to see the list of all the notebooks that belong to that Space.

To learn more about the permissions that can be set for users in Zepl, please refer to Access Control.
